Anyone feel bored in their lives?

I’m approaching mid forties, young Dd I adore, live abroad by the beach, nice house, ok partner, nice friends, dog…seemingly great life, so why do I feel so bored and craving excitement or just…something?

Does anyone else feel like this?

I felt like this when young sometimes, but able to do exciting things, the 90’s scene, clubbing etc, travelling the world…what now?

is this it 🤷🏻‍♀️

Okay partner 😆I'd be gutted if my husband described me like that!

@RhiRhi1996 🤣I didn’t actually mean that, we’ve argued today and have a few issues…maybe that’s part of it

To answer your question, I think everyone or at the very least most people feel this way, regularly or sometimes. I certainly do, and I know my husband does too

Routine is boring. The 9-5, same activities on weekends, can lead to feeling very unfulfilled!

There is nothing stopping you seeking out some things you find exciting every now & again though, no matter your age? :)

Well, what do you want to do? Study? Travel? New job? New husband?!

Decide, then do it!

Herecomesthehotstepper77 · 04/06/2022 23:44

Not sure it’s that easy?

Can't really travel easily anymore with a 4 year old…new Dh, also not easy 😅

You need to have a goal.

People often have x goals, married children house career, when’s hence achieved those they suddenly become lost.

Start thinking and then doing, new hobby, travel, career move, stop procrastinating and start living.

It IS that easy. If you want to travel, book a holiday. It might have to be outside term time but you can still do it.

Do you work? Do you enjoy it? If not, look for something / something new.

What is holding you back is your 'yes but' mindset...
