To want to make a complaint about this?

I had brain surgery a week ago. I was in hospital for 3 weeks leading upto it. I suffer massively with mental health and being in hospital is a huge trigger for me. While in hospital I attempted to ligature leading to me being placed on a one to one.

Anyway to be discharged and have to see the mh team. Tell them that I still want to end my life and that I have means to do so at home... and they discharged without making any form of follow or attempting to contact any of the mh teams in my area. Would I be unreasonable to make a complaint about how unsafe this is?? Thankfully I've had a friend who contacted services on my behalf due to being concerned but if I didn't things could of ended very different

I would absolutely make a complaint about that, I am so sorry that happened to you. Your complaint won't change what happened to you but it might help to stop it happening to someone else.

That's what I'm thinking. The next person might not be so lucky. I feel sick thinking about what would of happened if my friend didn't step in
