So I've been bitten, always react badly and always get bitten. This one is odd, should I be concerned about the tracking?

I would definitely get it checked out,any spread like that is concerning. If you can see into it remove any sting and douse in antiseptic until you can get an appointment. Also take antihistamines in case you have an allergy to the critter

Haggisfish3 · 04/06/2022 18:18

Yes I would be off to a and e with that. Draw a line round it/photo with ruler to see change.

Ooft what's taken a bite? I always react quite badly too. Bloody wildlife.
Hope you get sorted OP.

Electriq · 04/06/2022 18:33

Yes I would get that checked asap.

Really? At this moment it just looks like a reaction to the bite. If you have skin like mine (and OP's) you would be permanently at A&E. Just keep an eye on it. Slap some savlon on, take an antihistamine, if the red continues to spread out, or gets a ring, then maybe get it checked out.

Difficult to see in the picture, but is the tracking not small little first bites?

Benjispruce4 · 04/06/2022 18:35

Hardly A&E worthy! You’d be there all night. Draw a line around it with own and keep an eye on it. If it tracks further up towards your heart ring 111.

bloodywhitecat · 04/06/2022 18:37

Horsefly? Is the red line not the start of tracking?

trevthecat · 04/06/2022 18:39

I get bites like this every year. I react so bad. Draw a line round it and go chemist tomorrow

custardbear · 04/06/2022 18:45

It's tracking up the vessel - I'd definitely be keeping an eye on that- draw a line around it, treat with antiseptic and cold compresses and seek help if it grows

Haggisfish3 · 04/06/2022 20:18

I went to a and e with red tracking like this and they were very clear I had done the right thing.
