Too think £20 for one pair of knickers is ridiculous.

Buying a new bra, asked how much the matching knickers were. £20!! I almost fell over. Does anyone actually buy them at that price?

I don’t.

mycatisannoying · 02/06/2022 23:46

I wouldn't! Not unless they miraculously made me look 2 stone lighter Grin

Agreed

God no ! That's ridiculous

jcyclops · 02/06/2022 23:48

You can buy Tents for less ;)

Dexy007 · 02/06/2022 23:48

I am in no way a glamour puss (don’t even wear mascara, hair always in messy bun) but i can’t bear my pants not matching! I get the thong and short/brief for every new bra. Expensive habit.

DenholmElliot1 · 02/06/2022 23:49

Depends how much the bra was, what the shop was, and what the quality of the knickers was.

FrecklesMalone · 02/06/2022 23:56

No chance. They saw someone coming!

I'd definitely pay £20 for that!

The bra was £36 also ouch, but it's the only place I can buy ones that fit. My mum can't understand why I don't just get cheap ones from M&S. but theirs just don't fit. I wish they did. I could get a twi
Pack for half the price!

Yep, quite possibly, if I really liked them. Spent £44 on a bra and pants set a couple of weeks ago. I've already worn them three times but not for long

LauraNicolaides · 03/06/2022 00:01

I doubt that £20 would buy the fabric required to make my vast bloomers.

Luredbyapomegranate · 03/06/2022 00:02

Yes. But you can opt not to.

I don’t really understand the matching bra & underwear thing because I change my underwear daily but can wear the same bra for days. Do you have to buy several pairs of underwear for every bra or do you change your bra every day when you change your underwear?

I buy 2 or three matching pairs usually. All my underwear comes from rigby and pellar so it’s an expensive habit.

Popsicle33 · 03/06/2022 00:33

The knockers are always horrible synthetic itchy buggers. I just wear cotton ones in the same colour

Enko · 03/06/2022 00:34

Yes I pay that for knickers. I also spend a fair bit more than £36 on a bra. I like them to match and I like my bras to not dig into my sides. I also prefer them to be cut well so when I buy underweari often spend £100-200. It's also why I hand-wash my bra's

I’ve spent more than that on leak-proof period pants, but I consider those an investment that displace my monthly tampon and pads costs. On bog-standard underwear, I’d probably spend £20 on a 6-pack!

EBearhug · 03/06/2022 01:08

I'd pay it for lingerie that I'm not intending to wear for too long, but not for every day knickers.

TizerorFizz · 03/06/2022 01:13

@EBearhug
Thats what DD says when she buys from Agent Provocateur. £20 doesn’t go far in there.

Babysharkdoodoodood · 03/06/2022 01:35

I get mine from a Swedish company and they're usually £22 each or 3 for £44. I get the high waist full briefs and they are the best knickers ever.

I signed up as a test pilot so get reduced ones, end if line or the weirder colours. I'll stick the link in but I don't work for the pm, honest!

If your knockers are itchy synthetic ones you may need to ho to the doc 😂

I tend to buy tescos multiple packs. But it's ages since I bought any so I can't recall how much they were

Popsicle33 · 03/06/2022 02:37

Haha although very lacy bras do make my knockers itch! I love my Primark Sloggi style knickers
