Posting here for urgency.

I'm setting off for a wedding in an hour with my 2 year old & DH

Family wedding so had to bring DS.

Currently sat here with the worst anxiety about how he's going to behave. He's not badly behaved but he's also never been to a wedding.

Please send tips, thoughts & prayers my way

Thank you!!

If he gets restless ask dh to remove him outside.

Bring a couple of quiet toys to keep him amused, sit near the back and if he starts playing up just step outside with him.

He's only little and will probably be bored witless. If he is noisy or naughty calmly remove him from the room without delay and without making a fuss.

Enjoy the wedding. People will understand

Thank you! We will definitely take him out if he gets noisy! I just can't think of a worse environment for a toddler lol

When my uncle got married, before I was born, a few of his siblings had young children including toddlers. All family weddings since have been child-free as have funerals

Sticker book, chocolate buttons for the ceremony/speeches, favourite programs downloaded on iPlayer app to play on mute.

I've taken my toddler to 2 weddings and he was better than I was expecting him to be!
