Unsuitable temporary accommodation (hostel)?

Hi, I wasn't sure where to post this. Mid April my babies dad and I broke up. I had been living with him for a year and 4 months at that point, before that I lived with my mum. Due to getting pregnant I got disowned and kicked out and moved in with him. Anyway, when we broke up, I became homeless, nowhere to go due to having no one in my life but him and my daughter, and now facing the fact that I can't take care of my daughter unless I am with him or have my own place. No money to private rent, I went to the council. I stayed in a hotel for a few days but due to a misunderstanding I had to go back and stay with him while I awaited a referral to a "family" hostel. Fast forward to last week, the referral got accepted and I moved in last night. I had stayed at my babies dads house up until that point so I could take care of my daughter still. Plan was to move my daughter in with me a few days later once I settled in. Once I got in, met my housemate, who has been living there on her own (3 bedroom house/hostel) for the past 5 weeks. As soon as I came in, she introduced herself and then told me that if I saw 2 guys lurking outside smoking that they are we sisters ex and his friend and that two nights ago they came banging on the door telling her to come out and face them because they have a feud. She smokes 🍃in the house.

I don't know what to do. Now I don't want my baby staying here with me. I kind of don't feel safe myself and I can't reject it because I've been told this is my final option. I've been told I could be here for 6-8 months or even longer.
Help?

Do you believe her?sounds..odd.
As for her smoking pot all day you'll have to tell her that there needs to be a stop to this for your child's welfare.
If she won't speak to social worker.
Good luck I hope you get a new home soon.

Ask her really nicely not to smoke in the house as your baby could be poorly

You need to tell her she won't be smoking weed indoors anymore, otherwise you'll have to report her for your baby's sake.
