Am I being unreasonable to conclude that things in Great Britain are deteriorating across the board? I’m thinking of:
- our PM and the culture he represents and promotes is shameful
- it’s almost impossible to believe anything in our media - so much made up nonsense passing as news
- the Harry and Meghan furore makes us look demented and lacking the presence of mind to deal with real and pressing issues
- cost of living is causing so many to slide in poverty
- NHS under strain; lack of dentist, doctors, and a monumental waste of taxpayers money.
- social services are in a terrible state, again with lack of staff
- education is in a mess
- generally services are poor, people have little respect for each other.
- in the building trade, there are far too many who treat clients and potential clients with rudeness and contempt
- mental health is at a pandemic level
and I could go on.
Beside the jubilee, what is there to celebrate? Even the cost of the jubilee is questionable.
