Steroid injection for frozen shoulder

Had a steroid injection today for frozen shoulder. Can move my arm more than I could before the injection but I’ve just got that horrendous dull aching type pain radiating down to my elbow. Dreading bedtime. Can anyone please share there success stories and tell me I’ll be waking up pain free? 🤣🤞🏼

Ooh I don’t know about waking up pain free. I just remember the relief of the anaesthetic that accompanied the injection. After it wore off it did start to hurt again, but it was definitely the beginning of the end of the pain. Until the injection it was getting worse and worse, after the injection it got better, but it still took a while before it was completely gone.

My mum had this injection on Thursday, the dull ache went on Sunday and it's now starting to feel a lot less painful. She was told that it would take about a week before she felt any positive effects. Fingers crossed you feel the benefits in the next day or so.

Injection had no impact on mine, sorry!

Running was the only thing that helped, the gentle arm movement while running and the muscles being ‘reset’.
