To want to binge watch Peppa Pig?

Youngest is 11 this week, I feel that I must have missed so much!

The last I remember was Daddy Fox (Alexander Armstrong iirc) asking Daddy Pig what the house was built of and Daddy Pig said "Bricks, so dont even think about it"!!

It was so good! The first of the BBC effforts that understood that we had to sit with them to watch it! Shortly followed by Ben and Holly of course (Nanny Plum and Wise Old Elf DEFFO had a history!).

Yep, came to say Bluey too, I genuinely find it funny!!

PaddingtonBearStareAgain · 30/05/2022 02:46

I agree about Bluey

PyongyangKipperbang · 30/05/2022 03:11

But DD was too old for that so we are old skool Peppa!

No one does sarcasm like nanny Plum 😂

Moomoola · 30/05/2022 07:00

Ooh I’m with you, peppy pig is genius. I remember discovering it at stupid o clock when breastfeeding and was so delighted, it was funny, clever scripts. Mummy pig working at her computer..’blah..blah..blah…..print’ and miss rabbit..and read some article in guardian or similar about how it defines new roles - daddy pig is a bit daft and mummy pig holds it together. And then holly is fab too. I love nanny plum! And I love her accent.

Do it! I was chuckling to myself watching one where mr lion was getting hungry around Madame gazelle..he kept licking his lips but it’s ok *spoiler he’s a veggie 😂

PhilippaPhilpot · 30/05/2022 07:10

Nooo... Not Peppa Pig. Try Hey Duggee!

GoFishandChips · 30/05/2022 08:07

No OP! Stop getting Peppa wrong 😜 It was Mr Wolf who asked Daddy Pig that! We love Peppa in this house though I think they jumped the shark a bit when they went to the moon to look for a duck who had stollen Peppa's boots. I wish they made another series of Ben and Holly!

Oysterbabe · 30/05/2022 08:08

Peppa has the odd good episode.
Bluey is soooooo much better.

Cleanbedlinen12 · 31/05/2022 22:41

Ok, googling bluey!

I immediately thought the same about Mr Wolf. 😂 "It's brick... So don't even think about it."

I have to admit I don't mind watching Peppa Pig, it's a lot more bearable than a lot of other kids shows I've seen, I just feel sorry for poor Daddy Pig being fat-shamed so often!

KermitlovesKeyLimePie · 31/05/2022 22:53

Binge watching PP?

Yeeesss I thought that might happen.

As you can tell I much prefer Ben & Holly

WaterBottle123 · 31/05/2022 22:54

When Mr Bull told Miss Rabbit he had a nice long pole for her SmileGrinGrin

TenThousandSpoons · 31/05/2022 23:04

I miss it too. It was much better than YouTube and TikTok wasn’t it? My favourite that I often think about whenever there are roadworks:
”Everybody loves it when Mr Bull is digging up the road!”
