My ex is absent completely totally not involved, I bring up my children alone and have done for years now, what bothers me though is as he is on the BC I have to ask permission to take my children on holiday, so I have to ask an absent person for permission to take my own children away who I am with every day and raising alone, yes I know I could take it to court but again it’s mad to me that I have to take it to court to ask for permission to take my own kids away never mine the money it costs. Also I’m worried this could drag up contact again which I would rather avoid. Is it just me who thinks that if a parent has been absent through choice for x number of years which can be proven then they should lose PR?
