To submit my child's tantrum to durex

My three year old just had a huge meltdown for 23 minutes and 19 seconds, I know that because I recorded it while driving ( phone in the cradle! and I didn't touch the phone once)

AIBU to submit that as the worlds longest condom advert ?

isn't parenting fun.

Feeling your pain today, DS1 has been on a mission of destruction, meltdowns and tormenting his brother all day with very much screaming.

😂

That or a 14yo girl telling you to go fuck yourself and asking for a lift 10 minutes later or her life is OVER.

I don’t have kids. I stuck to cats 😄

I hear you. My 6yo had a massive meltdown. Took him around 30 minutes to calm down just now. Whole world probably heard!

ExH asked 7yo DS to get his shoes on to go shopping recently. Cue a writhing on the floor, howling tantrum, complete with "NOBODY LOVES ME, EVERYBODY HATES ME, I HAVE TO DO EVERYTHING AROUND HERE, I WISH I HAD A DIFFERENT DAD" 😂😂

Lightweight. Our pb is 4 hours 🙈

I babysat a friend's three-year-old one evening and he had an absolute screaming, red-faced, snotty-nosed, wall-kicking tantrum because I was sadly unable to make his red crayon produce blue colour.

He had a blue crayon, obviously, but he didn't want to use that.

An ex-colleague used to say of a particularly obnoxious child 'They should put his face on condom packets with a slogan underneath - use one of these or you might get one of these'

My Dd had a meltdown in Asda because they had sweets she wanted at the checkout and I said no you have already had some. 30 mins later she was still polishing the floor. I was 8 months pregnant and was not picking her up with her kicking legs. I was told at various stages: give her the sweets, make her shut up, give her a slap, shall I call a doctor? I said no it will blow over eventually.
The next time I went into Asda, there was a sweet free checkout aisle.

Reminds of the Mtv shows 'Sixteen and Pregnant' and 'Teen Mom' giving people a reality check on what it's like dealing with a baby. Worked much better than that "abstinence only" shite that the Bush administration came up with.

Ugghhh, it's a horrid age OP. There will be better days to come. The kid will probably turn into an angel once he/she starts school.
