The Chancellor and inflation

AIBU to have identified that the Chancellor seems to have has one of his key policies is pushing up inflation as much as possible.

Eat out to help out - give the middle classes money so they go out and spend more, pushes up inflation

Stamp duty holiday - pushes up the cost of homes = more inflation

Giving everyone £400 pounds, not enough to cover the increase in fuel bills for the poorest, but £400 that those who can afford their fuel will spend on other things = more inflation.

The stamp duty is just totally mind boggling and so upsetting.

Yes, poorly thought out policy after poorly thought out policy. I have just commented the same in more details on the thread about money for every household.
