The dreaded waiting

Interview on Monday for what would be my perfect job, it was a good interview and I'm happy with how I performed. However despite this I won't get the role due to it being just a bit much of a jump from where I am at currently.

It's the waiting, the horrendous 3 days of just constantly refreshing my emails. They did say they would have a decision by the end of the week.

This is torture.

I'm sorry you were not successful, it's gutting when it doesn't work out.

No, I didn't expect it to take that long but by week two I'd guessed that I hadn't got it.

Hope you didn’t go for the same job as me @springbreak22 😆 There were three positions though! They said it could take a couple of weeks 😬 I came second for a job last week and the lady said she thought I’d probably have been bored in the job and I’d be better in the band above, which is a compliment but I still wanted the job. The interview on Monday was for the band above (NHS band 6)

On the bright side, at least you got interview practice, I’m sorry though that’s really hard. Are these type of jobs rare?
