To think there must be some sofas out there where the cushions DON'T slide forward?!

Shameless posting for traffic.

Please help me with my quest to find a sofa with good depth (for a sizeable bottom 😂), where the cushions don't flipping slip forward every few minutes! I've had a few sofas in my lifetime and most of them have had this issue. Sick and tired of pushing cushions back in. Moving house in a few months, so now is the perfect time to find sofa nirvana!

My parents have a wooden settee where the cushions attach with straps. More comfortable than it sounds.

We have an IKEA Farlov sofa. It’s ace cos it has a mattress type bottom cushion that stays in place and no gaps to sit on too.

I got a beautiful sofa from Swyft and the cushions don’t slip at all, they even send you fabric swatches for free too.

I have this from DFS and they do move a little but nothing like my previous sofa. I got the upgraded cushion inners

Velcro.
Whatever you get next glue Velcro strips under the cushions.
especially if it's a naturally slippy surface like leather and your kids are dicks like mine were and slair about constantly.

Ours is from Sofa Sofa and the cushions don't move at all even with my (humongous) bum on them.

The only sofa we had where this didn't happen was a leather one from Furniture Village many moons ago . The base and back ones were sewn to the frame upholstery.

We also gave an IKEA sofa (Gronlid) zero movement of cushions ever in 3 years

Fo you mean the seat cushions? Put a piece of rugstop under the cushions and it keeps them from moving

I have a Habitat corner sofa from Argos. No cushion movement!

I just have one without seperate cushions! It's absolutely nothing like this picture but just 1 long cushion.

Would absolutely recommend a recliner sofa! I foolishly thought they were just for older folks but no, it’s been a game changer for comfort and there’s some really nice styles now.
