I hate inappropriate 'lol'ing of any kind. You get it on here sometimes:
'My bf did this horrendous thing and I'm not sure what I should do lol'

I can only imagine those people are nervous laughers in real life or something.

There is one friend in particular who does this and you know she is using sarcasm and putting lol at the end to soften the blow. Well it doesn't and I'm so fed up with it.

I have a friend who does this at the end of every sentence. Not being passive aggressive just every bloody sentence. Actually that's not entirely true, she sometimes replaces it with a cheeky pmsl. When nothing she's said is funny. It actually boils my piss....

Haha is worse in my opinion. I get an image of either someone deadpan saying it in a bored voice, or a robotic evil villain type.

I only get two people using LOL. One is a friend who does it passive aggressive. The other is a man and just being funny.

I hate it with passive aggression. I also hate it as punctuation.

My sister does it on FB. She'll comment on a laid-back post about some rare wildlife or amazing building and pick the facts apart (having googled the correct information), ending with lol as though that makes her less of a plum.
