Bought second hand item with this emblem patch sown on, does anyone at all recognise it please?
Think it's a C+ rather than a G+ but I've looked everywhere online.
Needle in a haystack maybe.
Just would like to know what I'm advertising 😬

Muggles in geocaching are members of the public who don't know about geocaching. You are supposed to avoid letting anyone see where a cache might be hidden.

Seems to be a geocaching clothing brand.

Definitely a geocaching logo

YeetTheTeets · 21/05/2022 20:57

Definitely geocaching. I have the same emblem tattooed on me with my geotracking code.
Definitely not affiliated with JKR.

That's people theming their caches and puzzles with HP. The symbol is a geocaching emblem.

I themed a group of caches and tailored the locations and clues and puzzles with a music band I love - the symbol wouldn't be attached to the music group.

If you don't geocache, definitely give it a go. They're everywhere.

@YeetTheTeets
Ok think I understand it now it's a treasure hunt.
Fun fact Nik Kershaw's "The riddle" song sent people into a massive treasure hunt all over the UK digging up fields etc because they thought it was full of criptic clues for treasure.

Definitely geocaching.

Started in summer 2020, up to 461 finds. Love it.
