AIBU about AIBU?

I know that from time to time people complain about the responses on AIBU being too harsh. That's not what I'm moaning about!

I would just like to suggest 3 rules/improvements:

1. Please don't bother to post 'I couldn't get worked up about it/Why are you bothered' responses. If you're not interested or bothered by the question, then please move along the bus. Often someone is just raising a point for discussion - no-one is getting 'worked up', it's just interesting to hear points of view.

2. No need to pile on. If 3 posters have said something (especially if it's harsh) then really, is there any need to say it 30 more times? So often you read streams of people all putting the boot in with the same point.

3. If you're going to comment, please read the post carefully.

Suggest to who?

You can suggest but no one will do it.
It’s free and public, you have no hope of implementing any of it.

Or you could suggest that if people ask if they are unreasonable the answer might might be a resounding yes they are.

Oh god. Then we would just get 4 posters posting the same comment, followed by 400 posters berating the last one for "putting the boot in".

Maybe putting all relevant information in the first post may help?
