WWYD - b-day party or regular class

Sorry no AIBU...I have a dilemma

DD 4 yo has a b-day party invitation next Fri at 4 pm. Also she has a regular Stagecoach class at exactly the same time, 30 mins drive from the party place.

She loves Stagecoach, it's her favourite activity of the week. Also they are working on a little show for the parents in June so I wouldn't want her to miss the rehearsal.

B-day party is at a soft play centte and she loves that place. There will be about 25 children, most if them are from her nursery. She'd love to have fun with them and there won't be another opportunity like that.

DH says she should go to Stagecoach 100% and miss the b-day party. WWYD?

Which would she rather do?

Ask her what she’d like to do??

Ask DD what she wants to do!

If you are okay with either, ask your DD which would she like to do.

She hasn't chosen one 🙄. She said let's wait and see 😏.

Then go for stagecoach class because she isn’t bothered and it’s what you and DH want.

She's 4, I'd do the party. I can't imagine missing a week makes a massive difference for 4yos.

I'd do the party, because it's the day before and at this point it would be really rude to not show up and have not told the parents or the poor little kid who's expecting her friend to be at her birthday party.

Sorry sorry, don't know how but read that as the party being tomorrow. I blame sleep deprivation! I'd still do the party though because it's fun for kids to go to parties.

Will there be more rehearsals before the show? If so, go to the party as it sounds like it'll be fun.
