Same username as OH being used online to see prostitutes?

Hi first time posting here though long-time lurker and I don’t know if I’m being super-paranoid about something so wanna run this by people here. Last week I saw my OH using a certain unusual name which I’d never seen him use before, this was for something totally innocent and unrelated. Without going into too much detail the name is basically our hometown postcode followed by another word identifying his gender followed by a year. I don’t know what possessed me to Google this but it showed up with results of someone who has been reviewing prostitutes in the Bristol area/Somerset all of last year on 2 different adult-looking sites (no I didn’t click on any of the links that showed up). I know if I confront him he might deny it or try to turn it back on me so I don’t know what to do, or maybe I’m genuinely being paranoid and 2 people can have an exact identical username? Thanks xxx

Well, someone else in your home town who is male could have come up with the same user name by chance, but it seems like it would be an impressive coincidence. To have decided on the same format and the same content for a username.

Are you in the Bristol/Somerset area and could he have had the opportunity to have enough time away to meet up with prostitutes?

For no apparent reason you googled an innocent name you saw your partner use and then didn't click on the search results?

People can, of course, have the same usernames, but I don't think you're being entirely honest here, it's an odd thing to do if there are no other suspicious at all.

You must have had some other suspicions.

Would the Bristol/Somerset areas be areas he would be accessing and therefore make sense that he could then be reviewing sex workers in those areas?

I mean, if you live in Aberdeen and he works from home all the time then clearly it's not him, but if you're in the local area and he would have had the time to sneak away then maybe you have to do some more research.

If the user name is a large town postcode and the year is a birth date then it would be possible for duplicates.....eg if you were from Newcastle NE1Guy1982 could just be a 40 year old bloke from Newcastle and probably isn't enough to convince me without other info.

If it's NE12PJGuy111182 and you live on the street with postcode NE12PJ and his birthday is 11/11/82 then yeah I'd be more suspicious!

I caught my ex cheating by searching his Xbox gamertag... it was definitely him and turned out he was messaging loads of women on a gross no strings site.

If the prostitutes are in your area and the postcode / dob match his AND he also uses that username elsewhere it would be a bloody massive coincidence that another man with the same dob and postcode came up with the same username to use prostitutes in the same area, wouldn’t it? I mean, prostitute use isn’t something that 50% of the population is doing. Are the reviews worded like him? Similar level of spelling and grammar? Phrases he’d use? Acts that he’d enjoy?

To be fair though, if the postcode
constitutes part of the username then the local connection is moot. But yeah, it’s him.

If it's like SW10Man and he's reviewing Bristol workers, that's dodgier than if it's a Bristol PC.

Agree with the PP who said it sounds like there is more to this. I have also googled H's usernames in the past because I don't trust him.
