To think that Silver Wedding Anniversary Presents are Naff!

Some of our closest friends are approaching their 25th wedding anniversaries. We will also be celebrating ours next year. The gifts seem either more appropriate to the actual wedding or for people decades older than us. Do you have any suggestions?

Just buy a gift - what is it you're looking at? how about a double silver photo frame with a wedding photo and one of them now?

How about a silver birch tree sapling.

Or a silver bullion block (can use as a door stop)

What do you mean by silver wedding anniversary presents? Surely you just buy something they'd like?
I know traditionally it would be something silver, but you don't have to buy that.
