Don't buy a trampoline.
Park considerately.
Keep your dc well trained and quiet.
Don't have loud sex.
Don't expect ndn to take in streams of parcels.

Don’t immediately paint the walls lots of different whacky colours. Live in it a wee bit and get to know the light at different times of day and in different seasons. Otherwise 3 months after you painted the living room a fetching deep purple you’ll realise it’s the colour of an actual organ and hate it so so much.

Do sign up to the local councils Bin reminder emails.

Leave your garden for a year, if you can. You'll probably be surprised with what suddenly pops up and with how beautiful a weedy looking shrub is, at the right time.
