Been with Dp for nearly 15 years&we have a 13 yr old DD. Things have been up&down for a while. Anyway,on a Sunday,he always washes&wipes up when I've cooked a lunch,whether he's worked or not .He has different days off through the week,but always has 2 days off.This has always been what we've done.Anyway we had lunch about 3&as always,left the washing up for him.It was left&left,so by 6 when it still wasn't done,I said to him are u not washing up today luv? Bearing in mind hes working today so goes to bed by 7.30/8 as starts in the middle of the night.He said no I'll do it tomorrow when I get bk.Hes not due bk til 11/12 so will be there for nearly 24 hrs,getting crusty&horrible.He knows I hate having it lying around for ages.Im no domestic goddess but that is one thing I do like done out the way.So I think he's left it in the hope I will get pissed off with it being there &do it myself.Im refusing to though out of principal.I have thought shall I just get on &do it then it'll be done or just wash up&leave him with the wiping up but then I thought no if I do that then he's just gonna expect me to do that every time he can't be assed so,so far,I've left it.Am I just being petty? I did loads of housework yesterday,including changing bed etc then showered &cooked lunch. So not like I was sat around doing nothing all day.He was home from work about 11 then did nothing but play on his computer. He does work hard with his job&I know he gets very tired but I don't think a bit of washing up is gonna hurt.He only ever does it on his days off or a Sunday when I cook which I don't always,mainly because he doesn't wanna wash up!
