Why are plus size jeans atm mainly skinny jeans grrr

Just this really,
Even Yours Clothing so very much catering for plus size ,and the jeans are often skinny jeans which are really not very flattering for fat legs,
I wonder if it’s because plus size fashion is often about a decade behind trends lots of cold shoulders still too,
I do miss boyfriend and bootcut flare style jeans ,

I also thought that skinny jeans have had their day but I was looking for some jeans in matalan this week and the jeans section was rammed with skinnies. I just want a normal straight fit and ended up going to Sainsbury.

I think because we’re fat they think we’ll just wear any old shite because it doesn’t matter what we look like. I stopped looking at plus size ranges in high street shops because I was absolutely fed up of seeing tops that say J’adore with an Eiffel Tower printed on it or a jumper that says rock chick in diamanté with skulls and roses.

Agree. Skinny jeans only suit slim women, and highlight chunky legs like mine so why would I want to show them off?

It’s all very well saying wear want you want whatever you’re size, but honestly, most people do try and dress in clothes that flatter their figure.

Try Simply Be wide leg jeans.

Have a look at M&S. They have great denim and go up to size 24.

I bought a pair of wide-leg jeans from New Look (curve) and a pair of Mom/Boyfriend jeans from Asda George a few weeks ago.

Simply B have nice boyfriend jeans. 24/7 range.

M&S, Next, SimplyBe, Sainbury’s, or Issa, Evans, River Island, Dorothy Perkins, BonPrix, Debenhams online even Yours Clothing all have Bootcut, Boyfriend and Straight leg jeans in Plus Sizes.

Next and Dot Perkins are a great fit and quality for me.

Have you checked your search filter OP to make sure your not only looking for skinnies?

Have a look at M&S and Next online. They may not carry all styles and sizes in your local store. I generally get things delivered to the shop, try them on there, and return anything I don’t want immediately. It’s like normal shopping but with the advantage of knowing you’ll be able to try on exactly what you want.

M&S Sienna - the super soft ones are worth the extra few pounds. I am a shortish size 18 and love these jeans

Try being tall (36" inside leg) and plus size 😥And living somewhere where none of the main high street shops who have a 'tall' range actually stock any of their 'tall' range locally (it's only available online, and I'm not sure what size I am, but can't afford to buy several versions in different sizes to try out) and I can't afford LTS prices. I'm literally down to my last 2 pairs of wearable jeans 😔

@OhHappyHappyDay I am tall and plus size ! 5”9 and over a size 24 so yeah options are limited

Going against the grain here but I'm a 22/24 and only wear skinny jeans! I like how they look far more than any other type of jeans, I prefer jeggings anyway. Frankly I don't dislike my legs so why wouldn't I want to show them? I think baggier jeans make me look even bigger than I am.

I got some really nice relaxed fit, straight leg jeans from morrisons. The leg is perfect width for trainers. I'm a 16/18 and the 16 fitted fine.
