Cheaper shutters than Hillary’s

we got a quote yesterday from Hillary’s for shutters in our living room bay window.

£3,300!!!

and that was when we compromised on a couple of things. The initial quote for the type of wood but still just white colour was £4,000!!!

so does anyone know of any other shutter companies that are either nationwide or based in the north west that you would personally recommend?

Just about anywhere will be cheaper than them. Try Blinds2go

Oh forgot to add - they wouldn’t be able to fit until mid September at the earliest!

Hillary's are notoriously expensive and pushy. I'd steer well clear.

We used Plantation Shutters and were very happy with them

We used shutterly fabulous. We’ve got wooden three quarter blinds for our bay window. They were just over £1k

I'd find a local (ish) company instead.I did that and my whole house was 1800.

The lead time was mainly down to manufacturing so it was still 6 weeks but very happy and a lot cheaper than Hilary's.

Anywhere but Hillary's as above - they are extortionately expensive. If you're on Facebook, ask in a local group for recommendations for a company - there are blinds companies in most towns and you'll soon find out which is the 'go to' in yours.
