I'm shocked. Stunned. Sickened.

Found out completely by accident, police now involved. But I just can't get the messages, videos and content out of my head, it's like a real life nightmare and I can't think straight.

I'm not even sure what the point of this thread is, but please please check your daughters phone. Often.

Thank goodness it came out into the open before more damage occurred to your daughter, I hope you both get the support you need to deal with this horror. Your post is a good warning to the parents of boys & girls that grooming could be taking place in their home now. I wish you well.

Hi I am new here just joined for this very same reason as I literally never thought it would happen to my daughter who’s ten and have no idea what to do , I have reported it etc but in shock

I'm sorry. It's a horrible shock. It's only now going to the CPS so be prepared for a long wait. Therapy has helped my DD, I'm not sure anything has helped me. Please feel free to send me a DM if you have any questions or need some support.

Really sorry to hear that.

A similar thing happened to my son (but he was one of the lucky ones in terms of severity), First thing I knew of it was when I received a call from the Met Police Sex Offenders Unit (or whatever it's called). They prosecuted the person in question even though they were under 18.

I hope your daughter benefits from the therapy and you can find some closure eventually. As you say, it can happen to anyone. My son is far more sensible than his brother but was still sucked in. And once they have that first photo, they have the leverage they need to keep it going.

She's getting councelling but don't forget to get some yourself. The shock must be awful. ♥️

Thankyou any advice etc would be welcomed , I’ve literally just found out and contacted police schools etc so still trying to get my head around it , I would dm not sure how as literally just joined xx
