To go on holiday without my partner?

My partner doesn’t want to wear a face mask on the aeroplane. I’ve been thinking about taking the children and leaving him at home. We’ve not had a holiday since 2016. Id really like to go. Only this is stopping us.
He won’t budge on it.

Why would it be unreasonable?

Which airline would you be flying with?

I’ve just flown with Virgin Atlantic and masks weren’t mandatory on the flight.

You're not being unreasonable but I thought you only had to wear one until you boarded the plane?

I flew from Heathrow last week. Hardly anybody wore a mask. Half of the airport staff didn’t. Nobody was told to wear one. The cabin crew didn’t wear them on the plane.

OP, if you and your partner want to go on holiday look at the restrictions/guidelines for your preferred destination and airline if this is such a big thing for him.

If you partner doesn’t want to go (even if it’s not mask related) then just go without him. Take the kids and have a brilliant time.

What airline are you flying? Pretty much all airlines masks aren’t mandatory anymore.
