Likelihood of chickenpox??

Ds is in nursery who currently have confirmed cases. Dd got sent home from school today, have heard that they have some cases in the school but no year groups confirmed. She's come home with a temperature, seemed fine all afternoon but then this evening her temp has really spiked and she is complaining of a really sore neck and stomach. Shivering despite temp of 40.

Not too concerned about the temperature as she has had this type of temp since a baby (currently 5) and it seems to be her weakness whenever she gets ill. However I'm (probably selfishly) worried about it being chickenpox, because of childcare. Don't get me wrong I'm obviously more worried about her feeling better but I just want to know the likelihood.

I've heard that it can take a while after being exposed to actually get ill. The earliest we heard about a case of it was last Thursday so is it more likely to be the start of something else?
