Feeling Ignored

to feel ignored by family for Mother's Day and Wedding Anniversary when no one calls, sends a card or even flowers? My activities are completely restricted due to medical issues and all I have is email and phone connections for contacts.

For birthday, yes, you hope to have some cards or a call or two.
For wedding anniversary, a card maybe from folks if it is your 25 or 50th, but otherwise that should come from your spouse
I'm sorry you are feeling so disconnected from your family. Has it always been this way, or is it a more recent thing?

Both daughter and husband ignored me. In fact, I haven't heard from my daughter in months. Daughter seldom remembers occasions.

I wouldn't expect children to remember a wedding anniversary, I do always remember my mum & dads and get them a card etc but my brother and sister forget every year! Your husband should have made some kind of effort to celebrate

Mothers day I would expect some form of communication/recognition from my child & partner. I would feel awful if I didn't celebrate my mother on her special day

Has there been a falling out, or was it a gradually drifting thing?
