To be annoyed with constantly sawing neighbour?

3 doors down we have a neighbour who has made his shed into a workshop. He spends ALL DAY in there sawing with some massive saw and it makes the most horrendous amount of noise. Just put my toddler down for her nap and the noise really doesn't help. Just wanted to vent really!

I have one of these too. I ended up complaining to the local Council. The Council didn't need to do anything because luckily my neighbour turned out not to be a complete dick, realised he was being unreasonable and hired a workshop instead. But it did help that the Council wrote a letter telling them that a neighbour had complained. I think they were embarrassed.

Oh sympathies, there are loads of them round here. Circular saws, power washers, grinders. The worst neighbours I have decided are bored retired men. My entire summer was ruined last year after a neighbour retired. If I win the lottery I'm buying an island.
