Firstly, this isn’t an AIBU but posting for traffic as this is probably quite niche and might get lost in the abyss.
Secondly, I promise this question isn’t for any kind of nefarious activity… I’m trying to write a story (hoho) and need a specific type of poison / poisoning / suspicious death to fit my narrative…
So, the question is this: there’s an episode of Lewis where somebody dies in an ‘apparently’ non-mysterious way, but then a few days later, in the old autopsy lab Dr Laura Hobson spots some kind of mark / change of skin tone / some kind of sign that makes it apparent something suspicious has happened. She says something like ‘this is X, and the ‘mark’ (or whatever it is!) only shows up on the body 24 (or maybe 48?) hours after death’.
I know, I know. Ridiculous.
I’d had my story idea in my head for a while and remember thinking ‘Aha! This would be perfect!’, then proceeded to make no record of the episode or any of the details.
If anyone can save me from re-watching 22 episodes (44 hours) of Lewis to help me solve this riddle, it would be very appreciated!
Any alternative poisoning options also very welcome.
From what I can vaguely remember, this conversation was near the start of an episode, and long before Hobson and Lewis had any romantic interest… if that helps at all?!
