To think Kate moss should speak up

I get the need to stay out of it but she has proclaimed in the past how much she missed Johnny Depp, so if he is being accused of pushing her down the stairs if he didn't why hasn't she said so. And if he did why hasn't she said so. Someone's lying not that if he did it means he sexually assaulted his wife or if he didn't it means he didn't buy I think she should say.

Sorry, I think she's allowed to do what she wants in her life.

WhatTheWhoTheWhatThe · 09/05/2022 23:34

Why should she? Honestly this isn’t her shit show and she doesn’t have throw herself into the media circus it has become. She has no obligation to either of them.

Blahcat · 09/05/2022 23:34

If my abusive ex was being accused by someone else of hurting me there’s no way I would get involved to confirm it.

MyHusbandTheIdiot · 09/05/2022 23:36

No, she has no obligation to do anything of the sort. Not her circus…

However, my understanding is that now that she’s been named in court by AH, JD’s legal team have the right to call her as a witness to rebut the claims made, despite their initial agreement not to name exes in the case, so she may well end up having to speak in court anyway.

YouHaveYourFathersBreasts · 09/05/2022 23:37

It is never a (potential/alleged) victim’s responsibility to come forward and report or relay something that has happened to them.

Besides, having seen the ugly spectacle this case has become and the shockingly awful treatment one party in particular is getting online, would you want to get involved? I’d be staying well out of it, whatever my side was.

D0lphine · 09/05/2022 23:39

No i don't think she should get involved in the absolute shit show.

Gingerkittykat · 09/05/2022 23:42

I don't blame her for not wanting to be a part of that shitshow.

Her evidence doesn't mean anything. Just because someone behaves well in one relationship it does not mean they cannot be abusive in another and vice versa.

WhatTheWhoTheWhatThe · 09/05/2022 23:49

Anyway you answered your own question in that whatever she says doesn’t prove he did or did not do the things AH is accusing him of.

Herbarium · 09/05/2022 23:50

who are these fucking people and why do we care?

I'm pretty sure that's why his lawyers fist-bumped when she mentioned Kate Moss. I believe AH is the only one who's made that allegation. According to another witness to the incident she described with her sister, that didn't go the way she said, either.

EachandEveryone · 25/05/2022 20:42

I beleive she’s been on today? I haven’t looked yet.

Especially an ex who has a habit of suing for millions!

nextone77 · 25/05/2022 21:07

She wasn't allowed to testify until amber mentioned her in the case so that she became relevant to it.

Nolongerteaching · 25/05/2022 21:07

Of someone is called by the team to testify, could they refuse?

popcorndiva · 25/05/2022 21:11

Yes she appeared by video link to say she fell down the stairs as it was slippy due to a storm and JD carried her to medical help.

AH looked furious

WiddlinDiddlin · 25/05/2022 21:16

Yes, she didn't have to testify I don't think anyone who lives outside of the state it's being heard in, has to testify.

Jalepenojello · 25/05/2022 21:18

She could have refused to testify but she did not. She has next to nothing to gain by lying at this stage in her life/career.

SlightlyGeordieJohn · 25/05/2022 21:33

Good for her, she could have kept out of it, but decided to set the story straight.
