Before corona I was around 78kg, which was still pretty heavy for my body. However during corona there have been so many different stresses personally but also for our family, that I turned to eating.
I have an addictive personality. What I mean by that is I get addicted to things very easily, so I never drink alcohol more then 2 days in a row, I don’t smoke or so drugs etc. however one thing that I’m definitely addicted to is food! I LOVE and hate food, as a teenager I had a year of bulimia. But managed to get over that. Now I over eat EVERY day!
I have gotten to a point where I got on the scales today and I weigh the most I ever had (even more than when I was pregnant) 105kg. I am up in a size 20 and my clothes are feeling tight (as previously a 14)
for me it’s not the fact that I’m not fat, it’s more that my body is so unhealthy, I’m more tired and can’t run around with my children as much as I would like. I’m also spending way to much on unhealthy junk food.
the last few months I have made a few attempts at loosing weight, however I suffer with migraines (not headaches, the ones that make you lie in bed for 2-3 days vomiting and unable to think or open your eyes)
I am on medication for my migraines, however I also self medicate using, Coca Cola and crisps/pasta, Coca Cola and carbs help to get rid of my migraines.
tge last two times I have attempted to cut out the crap from my diet I am hit with insane migraines, that cause me to take time of work(which I can’t do right now)
im lost at what to do, which diet to try, how to change my diet without getting sick.if any of you in here have experiences as a migraine sufferer and weight loss tips is love to hear from you.
just for info I’ve signed myself up for the gym, so that’s a start, and I feel
emotionally ready for the change.
