Neighbour we know to see, sits in his back garden some nights(lots of houses very close together) and gets drunk, sometimes singing along horrifically to the music or talking extremely loudly and obnoxiously on his phone and often keeps us and the neighbourhood dogs awake. As it approaches summer he does it more and more.
Right now, at this hour, he is using a handsaw to cut wood for the fire he has going. He has been doing this for the last 20 minutes. All the dogs around us are barking over the sound of the saw and I'm ready to cry.
I'm that fed up I half considered screaming in frustration out the window at him but then I'd be just as bad. I can get his number tomorrow.
I could understand if it was a party or gathering but its just him.
This happened last spring/summer too but I just let it go since lockdown had everyone so miserable.
I can't let it go on again this year without saying something.
Would you text or put a note through the door? What would you say? I cant think straight.
I'm not normally a complainer but AIBU to start?
Please help me figure out what to say other than "Shut the fuck up you inconsiderate arsehole" ðŸ˜
