Juice Plus - Majorca "qualifier" weekend

ChesterDrawsLouLou · 07/05/2022 23:12

So an old school friend I'm still fairly close to has just "qualified"for the juice plus weekend in Majorca.

She's there now. I am completely an MLM sceptic/disbeliever etc and get pissed off with the same cult like posts, same old people commenting on each other's threads etc.

But, her pics look amazing. Amazing hotel, excursions, party etc etc etc.

Am I BU I'm thinking that juice plus is not it's not all it's cracked up to be? That she actually is enjoying an all inclusive weekend?

For those who have been sucked in previously, what would someone on a weekend such as this be paying for/covering themselves? Is it all paid for? Etc etc x

It'll be the usual bollocks - JP will pay for the hotel and a reception dinner but she'll have had to pay for the flights, transfers, and everything else at the resort. They'll all have to wear white for photos or some such, and pretend they got it all inclusive for free.

Absolutely this.

I vaguely know someone on this trip. I also know they struggle to keep on top of bills and the whole Instagram front is just a load of bollocks.

Out of interest I looked up the cost of a weekend at this resort.

Including flights it was about £500 pp.
so presuming JP pay less than this it's a lot of "publicity" for them for a relatively small
Cost.

I used to work for a company that organised trips like this for a different MLM. The attendees always paid to attend.

My mum did Kleeneze 20 years ago when my sister was a toddler and the trips she went on were genuinely all expenses paid (South Africa is the only one I can remember off the top of my head), she didn’t have to pay a penny.

Wouldn’t touch an MLM with a barge pole now though.

I watched the Lularoe documentary which was really interesting. In that MLM, only so many would qualify to attend so you would feel as though it was an honour to be asked, but then you would have to pay for most of it yourself. It was seen as a big thing to qualify so you couldn’t be seen to not go. It could be something like that? I think that’s what Arbonne do

GenialHarryGr0ut · 08/05/2022 08:55

Yes. The one I know has been going on and on about "qualifying" for months and what an honour it is.

If you listen to the language as well it's all about being "treated" by "the company"

I'd love to know how much of it is paid for.
