I doubt the sophisticated French ladies read the Daily Mail and think about how sophisticated British women are.

I'm sure I could find some French friends who buy expensive lingerie, but there's an awful lot of it on sale in the supermarkets and in place like H&M, and I can't be the only French woman buying it. Why does the Daily Mail like bashing British women?
