Had to NC for this as I’m always a bit paranoid.
Anyway, DF passed away last year leaving DM, myself and DSis who lives abroad. They lived in the same house for 50 years. DM feels she can no longer cope living there by herself so the house is on the market as of last week.
Estste agents have told us today there are 5 viewings booked for Monday. However they’ve also just informed us that they don’t supply anyone to show buyers around. This is apparently entirely up to us! It wasn’t made clear when we signed up either. DM isn’t very mobile and also very distressed about it all so it’s going to be down to me. Fine.
Except it’s not really fine, is it? I don’t know what I’m supposed to do, because I’m NOT an estate agent.
AIBU to think that these people, who are pretty prestigious and well known agents, should be doing that job?
I don’t know if this is normal or if it’s just another fucking ridiculous covid hangover/way of companies saving money.
