Bit of a back story, I have been experiencing IBD like symptoms for about 4 months now. Under investigation for Crohns/UC but still have a colonoscopy to go. So far was given Mesalazine which actually worsened my symptoms and landed me in hospital. During my stay the gastro doctor prescribed me Adalimamub to start immediately after my colonoscopy (next week). We have had no discussion, no alternative treatment etc. is this normal? What’s your experience with Adalimamub ? Any advice?
ps. I haven’t officially been diagnosed with neither crohns nor UC but my inflammatory markers are off the chart (200, then dropped to 100, still over 9 times the Normal value).
