Help! Royal Mail 24hr latest posting time

Posting for traffic

Just realised I forgot to post a form off today that has to arrive at its destination by the 6th. Having a stress, going to send it by Royal Mail Tracked 24 tomorrow but can't find details about latest posting time for tomorrow!

Does anyone know?

I gave a number if appointments tomorrow and wondering if I need to cancel one to get to the post office in time.

The post office in my town is 4.30pm. But you dont want to wait till the last minute incase you get stuck in a queue.

You have to do it by 1.00pm for guaranteed next day tracked delivery

Guaranteed special delivery will arrive by 1pm.

I double checked royal mail's website and it is 4.30pm. If the post office is only open half days then it is 11am.

I'm a jeweller. Everything I send is guaranteed special delivery. I go to the post office every day at 4pm after the school run. It isnt 1PM.

Will depend on your local post office. Mine you just have to get there before it closes at 5, the post is collected from there at 5:10pm

Call your local post office - at mine you need to get in before their 12 noon pick up if you want to get it into next day, so it obviously varies office-by-office.

@rbe78 I've looked at this, the two nearest me don't have their phone numbers online :(

I don't think RM 24 is a guaranteed service. You may have to post it Special Delivery to get it there on time

Thank you @AutumnDragon , I managed to get in for special delivery. Can't believe how stressful I found it - think I need a holiday!
