My GP surgery is giving me anxiety

My GP surgery is the worst surgery in existence - it is actually giving me anxiety.

I tried to book an appointment today as yesterday I called approx ten times and the line was busy.

Today they said is my enquiry urgent, apparently treatment for endometriosis isn't so only if it's urgent can I get an appointment before two weeks from now, I put my phone down and made them book be for today.

Today they answered and the doctor has called me five times - the phone keeps cutting off and they don't call back.

I have to call and reschedule another appointment each time it's stressing me out.

I can't take it anymore - does anyone know a way to have a fully online doctor or a way I can get away from my local surgeries? I live in an area where I have looked at reviews and they are all terrible I don't know what to do.

If you can afford it - go private. I get Bupa cover through work and they have an online GP service through Babylon. Works through a (good) app, can usually get an appointment with 24hrs of requesting, and you can still have a "usual" Dr (as in you get a choice in who to have, so can pick the same one to build rapport).

I thankfully haven't needed to invoke Bupa fir more than physio, but for me just the GP service makes it worthwhile!!

The waiting list for gynae outpatients is about 2yrs at my trust. An urgent referral for endometriosis will not be a priority sadly, if you can go private.

Ok thanks, I'm considering going private I've been quoted £4200 as my insurance are saying as it is fertility related they won't cover even though it is a condiiton in itself. I'm just so annoyed
