To ask if anyone else has has an extra child tax credit payment today?

Posted on the ever popular AIBU to ask if anyone else has been paid their child tax credit today? I’m usually paid it on a Friday so am wondering if it’s an extra payment or Fridays paid early. It’s also £5 more than usual, too.
can’t seem to find any info online!

They sometimes do this around renewal time, if you have the hmrc app set up for tax credit payments you can view upcoming ones and it shows you the extra payment too

I had one Friday along with my regular payment,which was due bank holiday Monday
