My period lasts 8.5 days. Always has. Very long, nothing actually wrong with me, it's just the way I am. I'm constantly anaemic so always taking iron. I feel wiped for 12 days straight out of every month. Tried the mirena and bled for 9 months. Tried the pill but it didn't change my period length and I just ended up with worsened acne so stopped. I run every other day and exercise doesn't help. I'm so sick of it. It always messed up my sex life when in a relationship too as I just don't want sex for almost 2 weeks of every month. I dread my period. Does anyone else have long periods? How do you cope?
