Just a rant as I'm sick to death of tasks
Walk dog pick up shit
Lunches
Water bottles - want to reduce plastic well stop kids taking sodding water bottles to school
Primary aged homework - bloody useless unless maths / English
Logging in to pay childcare, logging in to transfer tax free childcare, system crashes and start again
Dinners, pizza, freezer meals or cook from scratch, I'm just fucked off cooking full stop
School uniform, no crease my arse!
Rant over, am I just a lazy cow?

Yanbu. It's relentless but crucial load. I frequently dream of sitting in a dark room in silence with an empty head.

Awalkintime · 03/05/2022 20:02

How old are the kids? Get them doing some of it.

Merryoldgoat · 03/05/2022 20:04

YANBU at all.

I’m totally over it.

It’s bloody relentless op. I feel your pain. 🍷

Apart from the homework, most of that is not a school issue it’s a being a parent issue.
Most of those things are just basic child care. And yes it’s a bit dull and repetitive but that’s not schools fault.
