A bit of background info - I have a PT who works in a gym setting that provides group PT sessions as his full time job and is then allowed to use his place of work to provide 121 PT sessions privately.
I am not a member of the group PT sessions and have sessions privately.
Recently, the gym owner installed CCTV for ‘insurance purposes’. None of the CCTV is outside of the gym but three cameras inside covering the whole gym.
I was attending a private gym session at the weekend - so no gym clients were there at all. My PT got a text off the gym owner saying “You stand a lot in that position don’t you” making it clear he was watching our session live.
I understand that the gym owner wants cctv to protect his business but AIBU to expect that I will not be live monitored during a session? Just made me feel very uneasy!
