why can I not see the whole thread on one page anymore?

the new site is driving me crazy - why can't we see the whole thread anymore, and why sooo many adverts. I haven't visited for a week as it was so tedious in the hope it might have improved, but it hasn't...

please tell I am missing something obvious??

If you go to settings you can get the whole thread on one page.

You're missing the obvious thing that you can change it back I believe

I've lost the control that took you to the end of the thread etc

This is driving me mad. I don't want to view all threads on one page as standard. I just want to be able to view some longer threads on one page so I can search for certain terms. I don't want to have to search each page.

I mostly hate that I now have to manually add capital letters to my sentences! It’s like working on a really old computer.
