To only have energy on sunny days

Confuseddotcom12345 · 02/05/2022 11:03

Is this normal?

i have more energy in summer than winter but still low even in summer if it’s a cloudy day. Brain fog too. On a sunny day I’m bursting with energy. What can be done? There are lots of cloudy days where I live and I’m fed up of this lethargy!

I exercise, eat ok/well, have a multi vit, sleep ok. Have had bloods done, slightly low vit d which tablets address. In early 40s two kids (teens)

No advice, but I can completely relate to this.

I'm the complete opposite.

I used to think I was lazy, now I just roll with it, I achieve a lot on bright sunny days and not so much on dull overcast days, it balances out.

Have you considered trying a SAD lamp? I have a refurbished Lumie one (the Vitamin L model) for the winter - it's a life saver, literally as my SAD can make me suicidal. Also VAT free if you tick ours to be used as a medical device, which it would be for you too.
