Just looking for opinions on whether I am being unreasonable or not with DP?
We have DS1 3yo and DS2 3 weeks old.
My first gripe is regarding the sleep/bed situation. Dp brought ds1 into our bed while I was pregnant with DS2. Since I had emergency c section born DS2 I spend first week and half on sofa, then in ds1 single bed in his bedroom ever since. I've had one night in my own bed but have now been told its too much hassle and told to either go in my own bed with ds1 and take baby into this room or stay in 3yos bedroom with the baby. DP has had ds2 for one full night in 3 weeks.. he did not take paternity leave as not been in job long enough but even on weekends/days off he is not helping on a night. Other than 1 full nights sleep and one night where he made bottles when ds2 woke up because ds1 was at grandparents I've done every night on my own.
My 2nd gripe is DP is not helping/having much to do with DS2. DP did say he didn't want anymore kids after DS1 but came round to the idea during pregnancy. In the 3 weeks we've had DS2 he has probably fed him twice, changed about 3 nappies and not really picked him up. If DS2 cries he doesn't move. If I'm asleep on the sofa and DS2 wakes, he will stay glued to his phone and wait for me to pick DS2 up.
DP was helpful the first week or so after DS2 was born but it seems to have dropped off now. After a few days I had a secondary hemorrhage. My parents came over and offered to have the kids so DP could come to hospital with me to which his response was "they can take you I'm not spending another day in hospital".
I am tired and still very sore and just want some help. Am I being unreasonable?!
