Mirtazapine coincidence?

I started taking a new AD (Mirtazapine) about 6 weeks ago, and for about 3 weeks I have noticed that the muscles in my back, neck, shoulders, arms & legs are always sore. I'm only in 15mg and was hoping to get that upped when I next see my psychiatrist, but now I'm worried that an increase will also make the pain worse.
I've tried hot water bottle, deep heat rub, baths, stretching etc, but the only relief I get is when I'm asleep.
I'm tempted to stop taking them, but my MH is really bad.
I suppose my aibu is could this be a coincidence? Anyone ever had these?

Don’t stop taking it without speaking to your doctor.

I would speak with your doctor. They may not suit you and you may need something else.
My DH had horrendous panic attacks on those so they certainly don’t suit everyone.

I have been in mirtazipine for a few years. I had awful side effects at first, couldn’t slee at night because of awful
restless legs. After about the two month mark they began to subside and now I don’t have any side effects bar the occasional night of restless legs. Don’t give up on it straight away.

Thank you all
I know I can't just stop taking them, especially since my mood is not stable. I am just fed up with my meds & everything. I've been on loads of Ads & there is always something happening. I have an appt on the 11th, fingers crossed they don't change it for the 4th time, and I will speak to my psychiatrist about the side effects.
