White floors or dark wood

What are the pros and cons of white floor / dark I have a dog

White floor would be awful, but we found a light wood floor to be the best. Dark wood shows every single scratch, light wood scratches are barely noticeable.

light will show the dirt, dark will hide it a bit, it’ll be dirty either way!
