To go to bed without waiting for my pizza that I ordered?

Just that!

I ordered a pizza an hour ago. I didn't realise it would take this long. Still not here and now tiredness is overtaking hunger and I just need to sleep.

WIBU to just go to bed and sack it off?! Shall I leave a note saying sorry? 😂

Have you paid for it or not? If not then just go to bed although the banging on the door might wake you up anyway. Or phone the shop and cancel.

If it's Domino's there's a fair chance they'll never find your house anyway. Even if you have neon signs saying DELIVER PIZZA HERE all over the front.

Yeah I paid online. Just called them and it's going to be another half an hour so I've cancelled it. Oh well. Toast and bed it is!

90 minutes to get a pizza is ridiculous. I'd have cancelled too. Scratch that shop off your list!

I don't get why your first thought was to just go to bed rather than giving the shop a ring? Especially given you have now done that.

Haha! I did wonder tbh as I too have drunkenly ordered pizza and then thought why is it taking so long and wanted to go to bed

I would try and stay up, or at least semi alert to hear the door bell... and have pizza for meals the next day.

I can vouch for this, having stood on my doorstep awaiting a dominos driver in my slippers for about 25 mins tonight while he struggled to find my house. Apparently the concept of numbers being even on one side of the road and odd on the other (or indeed, using Google maps with my postcode) was too challenging??

Well done for cancelling OP and hope you don’t feel the lack of it in the morning. I used to be famous back in my house sharing days for coming home tipsy, falling asleep before my pizza arrived and my housemates getting free pizza at my expense 😄

i remember ordering food at midnight once-they said it was fine be with you in 20 mins

well an hour later nothing so i phoned up we kncked noone answered-bloody liars
