I agree op.

Presumably, like most other people who need to declare themselves bankrupt, she managed to avoid committing any criminal offences along the way.

Unlike Becker, who has at least one previous conviction (suspended sentence, but not sure what the offence was) and, though acquitted of nine charges, he has been found guilty of removal of property, failing to disclose estate, and concealing debt.

They've obviously got the wrong Boris!

WeAreTheHeroes · 29/04/2022 20:48

It was pretty obvious he was going to get a custodial sentence. He's made some pretty dubious choices in life.

DaftyLass · 29/04/2022 20:49

He has been fucking up for a long time, he is finally going to serve a tiny bit of time.

Andyouwithyourautumnsweater · 29/04/2022 20:51

I mean she has never been done for her multiple driving and drug offences, as well as breaking restraining orders

😅Indeed!

CloudPop · 29/04/2022 23:08

Given the acceptance of institutional looting by government and "donors" over the last few years, it's difficult to see why he needs to be imprisoned.

I've reflected on this having seen some of the news coverage and it looks to me as though Boris Becker is a classic case of, "too much, too young", perhaps without the guidance and protection the likes of the Williams sisters and others who have experienced young sporting success and huge earnings have had.

I saw him play at Wimbledon in an early round match when he would have been around 19 or 20. That was 30 odd years ago. Times and attitudes have changed since then.
